Frequently Asked Questions
Can anybody attend?
We believe firmly that music should be experienced by everybody regardless of age, ability or experience. All are welcome here. If there’s anything you think we should know just mention it while booking your free trial and we’ll go from there
What is a free trial like?
A free trial lesson is a free session where you can come along and meet the teacher. You’ll get to know each other and get a feel for the school and what we can offer you.
You’ll be provided with a few sheets of information at the end for you to take home and have a read through. The free trial isn’t intended as a sales pitch or anything like that. We don’t believe in selling the experience to you; just showing you what’s on offer and leaving it totally up to you.
How do payments work?
Payments are processed monthly as a Direct Debit.
Upon enrolment you’ll be emailed a simple yet thorough breakdown of exactly when payments are processed and how much each one is.
We close during school holidays so the debit will be less in holiday months (April, July, October)
Can I just try lessons for a little while?
Yep, no worries at all. I’ve set up our payment system to be a monthly debit so you’re never locked into an ongoing arrangement or a whole term’s worth of lessons upfront.
Is leaving as simple as joining?
Even simpler. You need only send me an email at narrabeenmusicschool@outlook.com within a reasonable amount of time (1-2 business days) of your next scheduled payment informing me of your wish to cancel charges and I’ll have that sorted for you.
What if I’m bad at music?
“Success” in your musical endeavours is best measured in personal satisfaction. As a general rule, there will always be somebody on YouTube sounding better and making it look easier. We firmly believe in setting our own personal goals and ticking these boxes in our own time.
As long as you’ve got some time dedicated to your instrument you’ll be seeing results in no time.
